Job summary

We are looking for a Business Development Officer who will work to launch and maintain the company’s product in new regional and international markets. A Business Development Officer will lay the groundwork to ensure that the product becomes sustainable in a variety of new markets. The goal is to drive financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with key clients and investors.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop business plan and strategy that guarantees achievement of company international sales and profitability goals
  • Implement and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate international markets
  • Provide timely feedback to the executive management about the international business development performance
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Design and recommend international sales and marketing programs
  • Set short- and long-term international sales strategies
  • Must be aware of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales
  • Should be familiar with international business concepts, practices, procedures
  • Must work to develop and maintain key international business contacts
  • Develop key relationships with regional and international customers
  • Build a solid direct and dealer international sales pipeline and develop opportunities
  • Achieve predefined international sales targets
  • Work with HR and Legal to develop international sales contracts in foreign markets

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Officer or similar role at an MVNO or telco company
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to seek, create, negotiate and close a deal
  • Successful partnership creation, sales, business development, and/or marketing experience at an international level in an entrepreneurial environment
  • High level of professional integrity and expectation to be accountable
  • Ability to network, communicate and build strong and genuine relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to generate enthusiasm and confidence from others
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in an environment of change
  • Comfortable working within a team that includes managers, peers, and advisors, and prepared to interact with team members on a non-hierarchical basis
  • Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Strong sales personality
  • Analytical experience and the capacity to create detailed business plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels, both one-on-one and in groups
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology and experience in using cryptocurrencies is not necessary, but will be a great advantage. The priority will be given to job seekers who possess at least basic knowledge of the decentralized project industry
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
